Accounting Undergrad Seeking an Internship with an Accounting Organization I wish to land an internship within an accounting organization, mainly tax focused, to see the many roles within an organization and watch the flow of day-to-day work. I can start adding to an organization upon my arrival whether it is with the organization of files, drafting mass emails, or even ground-level work such as running numbers and calculating simple values. I gathered those skills when I worked at UTSW in the cardiac rehab clinic, where I did daily client data intake and organized data after sessions for my supervisor. I am passionate, eager, adaptable, and fast learning with determination to help add value to an organization. Through both further education and work experience, I wish to become a significant asset to an organization and become a pillar of the foundation. I want to gain knowledge from experienced people within the company and use their knowledge to further my ventures whether it's within the company like helping with a project or something for myself that I have learned. I am currently an undergrad at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business with a declared major in accounting. I am interested in accounting because without intentionally doing so or thinking about it, everyone serves a role in some accounting cycle. I am mainly interested in being a venture capitalist, later on, just watching firsthand the growth of an idea sprout into something with a physical body and being able to monitor the growth whether it is property value increasing or revenue increasing, the process looks like an adventure I am highly interested in being involved in but currently wanting to be an accountant. My current goal is to obtain my CPA and work with a top 4 firm to solidify my accounting skills, challenging me to allow for me to grow the most within my accounting career. My current education is two years of undergrad but within those years I have developed efficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, also my communication skills and analytical are respected.
