My journey in cybersecurity began with a captivating show called Mr. Robot, which sparked my fascination with computers and their inner workings. From a young age, I couldn't resist the urge to disassemble and reassemble computers just to comprehend their intricate mechanisms. To turn my passion into a career, I pursued a Cybersecurity Course degree at BrainStation Learning Institution. The idea of safeguarding digital environments from threats excited me, and I knew this was the path I wanted to follow. My dedication led me to secure a position as an IT Analyst at Deloitte, where I have spent the past year and a half honing my skills and expertise. At Deloitte, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse and talented team. Together, we have tackled various challenges, from identifying potential threats to implementing effective risk management strategies and fortifying system protection. My experience spans across a range of security tools and frameworks, including IDS/IPS and SIEM. One of my most memorable professional moments was when our team successfully averted a potential data breach. Being part of the group that identified and mitigated the risk provided an adrenaline rush reminiscent of my passion for racing cars and motorcycles. Outside of work, I am a fervent motorsport enthusiast, closely following Formula 1 and actively engaging in racing activities. I find that motorsport complements my work in cybersecurity, as both demand precision, quick decision-making, and a constant awareness of your surroundings. In terms of certifications, I hold a CompTIA Security+ and AZ-500 certification, showcasing my knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity. Additionally, I have recently received my Splunk Certified Core User certification, further enhancing my expertise in data analysis and security operations.
