About Christian Mathieu

I work with investors, executives and entrepreneurs as a trusted advisor. I help them face challenges, seize opportunities, set objectives, strategies and priorities, and turn their ambitions into tangible and successful growth and value creation drivers. I play an active role in their strategic initiatives and projects – Growth, development and value creation, M&A, Investments, Transformation, repositioning and turnarounds. I exercise my role as trusted advisor through KPMG or directly. I also remain opportunistic and interested in any opportunity that would enable me, once again, to acquire, manage, operate and grow a business. I began my career as a corporate lawyer in the 1990’s. During that period, I advised private and institutional investors and private and public companies on transactions. Later, after completing an MBA at the University of Michigan, I gained experience working in various strategy and corporate development positions with established Canadian corporations (Québecor, Telesystem, Bell Canada International), where I had the opportunity to develop and implement strategies, launch, and grow new ventures and carry out transactions. In the early my career pivoted towards more entrepreneurial activities. Since then, I've been mostly involved in a variety of projects, investments and companies as an entrepreneur and CEO. Simultaneously, I often acted as a coach for upcoming entrepreneurs.
