About Christian Montecillo

I'm a planner by nature and a do-gooder at heart. I love seeing my plans come together in a way that benefits my team, my organization, and my world. Anywhere I can, in any way I can, I want to give my gifts and talents in service to others. My talents are in organizing, energizing, and leading people and teams towards a common goal with customer obsession as my north star. My career in program management, project management, and IT consulting led me to the love of working with people and solving problems. There is nothing better than feeling the energy I get from working with teams and making something work! In addition, I truly believe in the power of data and using it to tell powerful stories that matter. I have a BS in Computer Science, an MS in Management with a concentration in Project Management, an MBA, and I am currently a student at UC Berkeley's Master of Information and Data Science program. I am also a certified PMP, have my ITIL v3 certification, and I am a Certified ScrumMaster through Scrum Alliance. I have an intense curiosity and interest for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and their responsible application in business, public policy, and society and have put myself through several executive education courses to learn more and more about this domain. Additionally, I've taken Executive Education courses from MIT (Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy), and a Post Graduate Program at UT Austin (AI for Leaders). I'm interested in working on big, audacious projects that help people, society, and the planet!
