About Christian Stenner

I am a corporate security, crisis management and organizational resilience leader, trainer, facilitator, and speaker with experience over the past 25 years. This experience has included corporate investigations, emergency management, physical security planning and management, and leading large and diverse teams. Concurrently I have been an explorer and adventurer, dedicated to sharing unknown parts of the world and contributing to citizen science projects and research. I have delivered hundreds of engaging presentations on exploration, risk leadership, citizen science, and crisis management. I was recognized as a Fellow of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society and of The Explorers Club, and am a National Geographic Explorer and National Geographic Certified Educator. I have been a leader, volunteer and board member in various not for profit organizations, As a search and rescue coordinator I have managed the cave rescue specialty team in Alberta for over ten years and am on the board of directors for Search and Rescue Alberta, the organization representing 33 SAR teams and over 1500 volunteers in Alberta.
