REMEMBER YOUR POWER. It is easy to forget when there are voices around you reminding you of your weakness or even your body reminding you. Ignore the voices and take care of your body the best you can. Then remember who you are. The person who lives inside of your body. It easy to lose sight of that powerful woman. Her voice has been quieted by others or by the pain caused by genetics and the guilt that dances with it. Take away your genetics and picture how powerful you really are. You climb Everest every day because you have no other choice but to climb. You hold your children's hands through infusions and drs appointments, you love your husband. Indeed, your entire family. You do your best to ignore any blame that is placed on you for your genetics. You forgive yourself. You love your yourself. At least this is what I do to live in my power. Stand in that power because it is great and so beautiful. I forgot my power for one day. One day is equal to a thousand. I am taking my day back. Claiming it. I am not going to let genetics win and forget who I am. I have children who need a strong mother to inspire them, to be brave and to be bold. They need to know that they can do anything regardless of genetics. If they see me pushing though the pain and fatigue, they will follow. They will know their power and so will the world. This is my wish for everyone. To walk in your power. To live in grace and integrity. To have mercy on yourself and on others. To love unconditionally.
