About Christina Kane-Gibson

My name is Christina Kane-Gibson, and I am the owner of CKGcreative: creative consulting + design + video. I've served as a Marketing & Events Director, Public Information Officer, Media Professional and Strategic Communications Specialist in Municipal Government. I also have 12+ years in Promotions/Marketing/Producing in the Creative Services Department with the FOX owned television station in Austin, Texas. I thrive in the challenges of developing and executing promotional marketing strategies. I am used to the challenges of being a one-woman department in charge of all communications! I have experience with Press and Public Relations, all Media & Social Media, Promotions & Marketing, Graphic Design, website management, producing content for television (broadcast & PEG) and handling Crisis Communications. I’ve also found my passion in Historic Preservation and Downtown Development by playing an active role in Main Street and Downtown initiatives in both Maine and Texas. I also have 15+ years experience working with non-profits in media, event planning, event execution and organization, and fundraising. Working in local government and for FOX has given me an edge and an understanding of all facets of communications. I have the tools I need to understand what motivates people, communities, and clients.
