About Christine Amadia

Hi, I’m Christine! I’m a Graphic Designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. After graduating from the University of Alberta Design program where I studied both visual communication design and industrial design, I’ve worked as a Communications Coordinator for a local arts market in my hometown of Calgary as well as a Social Media Manager for a chair design company. In 2018, I made a big move across the sea to Japan where I lived and worked as an English teacher for 2 years, primarily to travel and experience living abroad. In 2021, I again moved across the world to New Zealand where I now work as a Graphic Designer at an advertising agency. Over the years I’ve had many wonderful opportunities to work on a variety of projects and explore different creative avenues. From animation to social media to education, with every problem to solve, I use my design based education to tackle it. The connecting thread throughout all of my work is a focus on communication. To create lasting experiences and stronger messages, my work always aims to evoke emotion and empathy.
