About Christine Ayers

A seasoned materials technician with over 13 years of experience in the science industry, I am passionate about supporting the advancement of materials innovation. My core competencies include chemical processing and forming, additive manufacturing, and precious metals processing, as well as management, budgets, and process improvement. In my most recent role as a Multi-Dicipline Technician at Corning, I worked with Immersion NDT of precious metals. past experience involved various automated equipment and high temperature glass materials, and I maintained inventories and life cycles of chemistries and metals. I also collected and analyzed data for process improvements, and created SOPs for quality and safety standards. Additionally, I interface with scientists to establish reproducibility and process controls for on-going fundamental glass research. I have demonstrated my leadership and communication skills by serving as an Interim chemical lab space supervisor, and I always strive to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
