About Christine Hedrick

I was born in Canada and grew up in Montreal in a French-speaking family. I learned English fluently at an early age through friends in my neighborhood without taking classes. Throughout my life I have developed a love of music and sports. I learned to play the flute, compete in swimming and horseback riding events and ultimately earned a Black Belt in Karate. I love pickleball, tennis, roller blading, caring for stray dogs and working with people. Through such passions, I have learned to work proficiently in teams and individually. I started working at Saputo after college where I immediately embraced the Company's core values and recognized the opportunity to understand the most important asset of the organization; its people. I have been privileged to harness diverse views and opinions to help create opportunities for people to grow, create solutions for the betterment of the business and provide HR training sessions across facilities in Canada and the United States. I learned to adjust and embrace change quickly. Proof of that is moving to the US in 2001 and being Saputo's first expat. Whatever I can do to help someone or the business, I will do. Providing courteous and professional services to people is meaningful and critical to me. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives. I possess talent acquisition and HR skills. With my ability to build strong relationships through communication, passion for candidates, I joined the Talent Acquisition team to support business needs. By working with various plants and succeeding in attracting and hiring great talent to join the outstanding Saputo organization, new employees are given the opportunity to build long-term careers! Through quality conversations, I am able to quickly determine skills, abilities and talents that people have and how they can align to benefit the business. I work with an amazing TA team and, together, we find ways to support our manufacturing facilities in a creative and effective manner while navigating through today's challenging professional market. I truly just want us all to succeed, and I will do anything to ensure or contribute to that. I believe that everything is achievable through commitment, trust, dependability, creativity & determination. I fully support and believe in people reaching their goals while standing my ground and holding my own, as needed, towards making a positive impact to help teams and business thrive. I love my job because it involves people!
