I’m a business-focused commercial lawyer with a passion for helping clients grow, scale, and solve problems. Technology & Fintech My technology and fintech work includes advising suppliers and customers on SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, outsourcing, licensing, data sharing, artificial intelligence, open banking, consumer protection and financial regulatory compliance. I have particular experience with fintech providers and direct-to-consumer platforms working at the intersection of innovation and regulation. Retail, Consumer Goods & Supply Chain In the retail and consumer goods sector, I help clients manage legal and commercial issues across the supply chain, including manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, e-commerce and distribution. I have a strong regulatory focus on the sale of consumer products, including beer, wine and spirits. Emerging & High-Growth Companies I thrive on supporting entrepreneurs and fast-scaling businesses, especially women-led companies, on the commercial issues that matter most to their success. From day one to growth stage, I provide strategic legal advice grounded in the realities of running an emerging and high growth business. 🤝 Franchising In franchising, I advise Canadian and international franchisors on franchise agreements, disclosure documents, cross-border expansion, acquisitions, franchisee relationships and insolvency matters. I’m especially experienced in complex and distressed franchise structures. Leadership & Advocacy I’m an active speaker and writer on tech, retail and supply chain law topics. I proudly serve on the CAN-TECH Women in Technology Committee, the OBA IT & IP Law Executive, the OBA Franchise Law Executive, the OBA Consumer Law Subcommittee, and the Advisory Council of Women Funding Women. I’m also the former Chair of the Osler Women Lawyers’ Network.
