I have been working in customer service since I was 15 years old. I began working as a server at the local Chicken Chef then left to work at the Co-op marketplace in St. Norbert when I received my driver’s license. I have always been extremely ambitious and reliable, when I was 16/17 years old I was working 30 hours a week while doing school. I still ended up graduating with a Merit award. My manager at the time said “I would offer you the Assistant Manager role if I knew you would stay here.” That was over staff who have been working for a decade with her. I have worked in the construction world driving heavy machinery from a packer to working my way up to a rock truck, I served at Tony Roma’s starting off as a hostess and working my way up to a server. I really refined my organizational skills and leadership abilities when I worked at Cambrian credit union. Working my way from member services representative to senior member services representative. I was a quick learner, efficient, able to balance general ledgers and find outages quickly and found different strategies to excite the team to excel during slow periods by creating incentive programs for sales purposes. During working at Cambrian I worked at Brown’s Shoe Warehouse and in the first month I was asked if I would be interested in being a key holder for the company due to my efficiency balancing the cash register, knowing when to up sell, and my reliability. I left Cambrian and Brown’s as an opportunity arose to work in my home town at Viterra. I started with Viterra in 2016 as the Facility Sales and Admin I used the tools I have learned from working over the years: Organization Adaptability Customer Relationships Problem Solving Leadership / Training Reliability With these tools I would receive glowing reviews and I applied for a maternity leave position to grow my skills and abilities. This position was in Winkler as a Customer Account Representative, once I finished my term I was offered full time in the role for the company to provide assistance buying in multiple territories. I have been told multiple times I am a sponge and I am eager to learn. I have honed in my skills with marketing and continue to gather as many tools to have in my tool belt. I’m a work horse and if you are a person who likes to bet I am your pony!
