About Christine Lyons

Over the last two decades I have focused on making a difference for all I work with. I've directly supported hundreds of clients and families to live their best lives. I have mentored and coached many of the next generation of speech pathologists providing them with the "tools in their tool kit" to be the best version of themselves both clinically and professionally and care for their wellbeing so they may thrive as speechies well in to the future. I've worked in a diverse range of settings including a regional hospital, a day hospital program, residential aged care facilities, private practice, and the peak professional association for speech pathologists in Australia (Speech Pathology Australia). I also stepped out of the health sphere for a time and worked for a multi award winning regional commercial construction company. I’ve developed a reputation for being approachable and authentic, with the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders and facilitate open and honest discussions built on trust that deliver high quality outcomes. Supporting individuals to achieve their best life by bringing together all of the stakeholders, services and all available tools / resources / information and working with the client and their family to determine a way forward is what inspires and energises me.
