About Christine McCarthy

Hello, my name is Christine McCarthy, and I am a current college senior at Bellevue University majoring in communications studies. My degree has truly taught me so many different skills. These skills include leadership, interpersonal communication skills, being confident in public speaking, and becoming a strong communicator to name a few. One of my biggest accomplishments throughout my academic career was making an honor roll each semester and seeing my hard work in and outside of the classroom pay off. Outside of the classroom, I am a dance teacher and social media intern. Being a dance teacher has greatly improved my leadership and communication skills. Each week I teach and lead large dance classes, and I have gained confidence in my communication skills because of it. Being a social media intern has opened me up to the amazing world of social media and how we connect with one another through the click of an app. Lastly, I am passionate about marketing and how that creates extremely innovate ideas and connections.
