Driving strategic communication and using communication as a tool for fostering impact and social change captivates me. I believe communication is a powerful tool for driving change and creating lasting impact. It bridges gaps, inspires action and transforms ideas into movements. My passion lies in strategically crafting messages that not only inform but also resonate deeply with the audience, influencing perspectives and fostering connections. I strive to use communication as a catalyst for progress and social transformation by aligning vision with strategy to empower individuals and organizations. I am currently the Corporate Affairs and Communications Officer at KCA University, a leading institution of higher learning that offers market-driven programmes through its four campuses to more than students across 30 nationalities in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America. My role entails elevating the institution’s and CEO's brand as leaders in the higher education space. I hold a BSc. in Communication and Journalism and I’m pursuing a Masters Degree in Development Communication to deepen my expertise in fostering sustainable change through effective communication. I have built a wealth of experience in Strategic Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility, Content Strategy, Crisis Communications, Media Relations, Brand Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management, Leadership & Collaboration, Copywriting and editorial strategy, Events Management and Public Relations. My career has been shaped by diverse roles, with the most recent being spearheading advocacy initiatives that raised KES 17M at KCA University to leading digital content strategies that grew Zetech University's social media platforms by over followers in two years. Each experience has sharpened my skills and competencies in creating brand affinity and elevating brand reputations. My ability to seamlessly integrate storytelling with strategy to deliver measurable results while maintaining authenticity sets me apart and helps me approach every challenge with creativity, adaptability and a focus on impact. I am keen on monitoring and evaluating all publicity campaigns and media engagements to evaluate the impact and inform future strategies.
