About Christine Olson

My first professional job was as a marketing analyst for direct mail company Fingerhut. After a year and a half with Fingerhut, I moved on to a Customer Service position at industrial Rubber Manufacturer, Midwest Rubber Service and Supply Co. For 7 years, I held many positions from customer service lead, to HR and corporate training and finally marketing. I left the company in 1997 to devote my time to volunteer work and raising three kids. During that time I was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Home and School Committee for four years, with last year serving as president. Wanting to keep up my marketing skills, I was Co-chair of the annual school open house, which is the schools only event held to attract new enrollment. Teaching Religious education to 9th graders, also helped keep up my training skills After ten years devoted to my kids and volunteer work, I returned to Midwest Rubber as a marketing manager. With a passion for industrial marketing, I work to bring new ideas and strategies to the company. Interacting with people in all positions throughout the company to launch new marketing programs, I gained valuable management experience. Outside of Midwest Rubber, I am the property manager for KB, Development Co II, LLP. I pay the bills, find contractors for repairs and lawn service, and makes sure the tenants are happy. I also enjoy attending mykids sporting events, reading and walking.
