About Christine Rivera

My passion for public health and psychology allows me to advocate for underrepresented populations. As well as using evidence-based research to improve social, communication, and coping skills for students with developmental disabilities using ethical ABA techniques. With my experiences, I have gained skills in communication, empathizing with students' families, and developed reasoning abilities that ensure proper work ethics within a professional environment. I am also able to interpret both statistical data using the SPSS software. Previously, I was part of the Generation Action Club at UH Manoa and held a leadership role as the social media coordinator and a Student Researcher at the John A Burns School of Medicine under the Tropical Medicine and Medical Microbiology Department under the 2021 MHRT cohort. Currently, I work as a registered behavior technician and will be pursuing a Master's in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis.Proficient in Applied Behavioral Analysis, data collection, working with children, and implementing behavioral intervention treatments created by the BCBA.
