I am a trust professional with 37 years of management experience. I have 24 years of financial industry experience at U.S. Bank, primarily as an Operations Manager and 3 years at Securian/The Standard as an Operations Manager. One of my primary responsibilities, and an area in which I exceed, is managing a team. I fully believe a trained staff is an engaged staff. Creating and maintaining fully documented procedures and providing one-on-one training is a requirement for success. Watching staff grow and develop is an honor. In the past several years I have been a mentor for many managers as well as training and developing team leads to become managers. They are more successful because of the guidance and instruction I provide. A major focus for any employee in the banking industry is awareness of compliance issues and creating processes that lessen exposure to risk. I have been actively involved in audits for several years, leading an OCC audit, and have developed and implemented multiple processes to create a risk-free environment. In all of my roles I have shown strong problem solving, time management and analytical thinking skills. I have been active in directing and implementing projects which improve processes, create efficiencies and allow for greater compliance and less risk. I have proven myself as a skillful employee with consistent high quality results.
