About Christoper Blain

As a Research Assistant at Williams Lake First Nation, I apply my Bachelor's degree in Psychology to support the community's cultural preservation and education initiatives. I also leverage my experience as an Assistant Language Teacher at Joetsu Board of Education, where I taught English and Canadian Indigenous culture to Japanese students and organized cultural exchange events. I have developed educational materials using Power Point, Google Docs, and Google Drive, and trained new teachers from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, I have worked as a First Nations Youth Support Worker at Coast Mountain School District #82, assisting students with their emotional and academic needs, and organizing Indigenous cultural activities. I am passionate about promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, and I hold a World Host certification in service excellence.
