About Christoph Schultz

As a Development Economist and Strategic Leader, I have spent most of my professional career in Organizational Director roles working to address some of the most pressing challenges in sustainable development including energy access and financial inclusion. I have a track record of building organizations by identifying gaps and opportunities to expand programming and optimize operations. I'm respected for my financial acumen and passionate about sustainability, economic development, and finding solutions to complex problems. I've lived in seven countries (Canada, Guatemala, Bangladesh, China, Sierra Leone, England, and Czechia) and have a passion for language study. I'm proficient in Spanish and have had advanced capacity in French, Mandarin, and Bengali. I hold a hold a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and Policy from the University of Manchester and have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Calgary. A dedicated life-long learner, I am currently digging deep into topics related to public finance, sustainable development, and energy systems.
