About Christopher Angulo

As a dual Canada / US citizen, I began my career in aviation 25+ years ago and being in Safety Management and Quality Assurance has always been the dream. I am a Safety Management Systems (SMS) Manager / Quality Assurance Auditor for WASCO. In this role, I lead audits of regional and international airports for both existing safety management clients and single audit request clients. In the safety management aspects of my role, I have authored numerous airport regulatory compliance manuals both domestically and internationally. I regularly conduct aviation related risk assessments and implement mitigation plans, both proactive and reactive, then follow up with an evaluation to ensure effectiveness. Before joining WASCO, I was the Operations Manager for an airline conducting charter flights from Miami to Havana. I was fortunate enough to work with some incredible clients and participate in the facilitation of major international events such as Music Bridges Cuba, Cuba v Orioles baseball game, and the Pan American Games. I'm truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other professionals.
