About Christopher Anthony Sterling

To obtain a position where I can apply the business metrics of the company and my creativity to meet customers needs while achieving optimal results for the company. My experience is drawn from my past internship jobs I have held, and my position at St. Bonaventure as the president of the Latino American Student Organization. My first internship was at Lexis Nexis in the Newark location where I was an Editorial Department Intern. The duties I did as an intern included categorizing law school books, electronically organizing library contents, managing and tracking department editorial files, creating and regulating all phases of contract process. In both job positions as a sale representative, I gained the experience of the creation and maintenance of quality client relationships and future developed my leadership skills. Also I learned enhanced and utilized networking skills as a means of outreach communication with potential and current client base. I also worked at The Francis Cafe on St. Bonaventure Campus. At this job I have learned how to use time management to organize and prioritize duties, multi-task under stress and pressure, the value of customer service, and how to contribute to building a good image for the company. Also I was president of the Latino Organization on Campus. In this position, I am valued as one of leaders on St. Bonaventure Campus to further campus diversity, to educate campus and community on diversity issues and to enhance the presence of the Latino culture. This has allowed me to utilize my skills such as application of project management, divide tasks toward group members, take notes for meetings and further use my skills in computer programs to establish events.
