Fascination: Medicinal cannabis & psychedelics therapeutics I am a clinical pharmacist with advanced prescribing authority specializing in complex pain and symptom management and palliative care in oncology, as well as a medical cannabis specialist (University of Colorado Boulder). I am former Communications Officer for the Canadian Association of Pharmacy in Oncology (CAPhO), a Fellow of CAPhO, and serve on the FCAPhO task force and Communications Committee. As a pharmacist futurist and digital health catalyst, I am embarking on bringing disruptive (seamless) innovations to health care. I also focus on the intersection of healthcare and social media. With a passion for pain and symptom management and digital health, I have spoken at national and international conferences including CAPhO's Conference and International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioner's Symposium. I am also a guest lecturer at Memorial University of Newfoundland's School of Pharmacy and a Clinical Academic Colleague at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Pharmacy. I'm a yoga teacher dedicated to teaching the traditional classical style of Hatha Yoga. But I'm also a bit of an adventurer! When I'm not teaching, you might find me mountain biking, skiing, or creating music and poetry. Plus, my work in palliative care gives me a unique understanding of how the body works and how we can find relief from pain.
