About Christopher Barcenas

I have over seven years of experience working in the food and beverage industry. Currently, I work as a General Market Merchandiser at RNDC, partnering with the Sales Representatives to merchandise products, identifying opportunities and locations to cross-merchandise for incremental sales, staying in constant contact with Retailers and Sales Representatives to ensure proper inventory levels and maintaining a positive brand image throughout each account. I started my journey in the industry as a line chef and sushi chef and worked my way up to become a Food Truck Operator with Ma Sarap, managing daily operations and weekly events, overseeing stock and supplies and being in charge of the opening and closing while also functioning as a chef. When Covid-19 forced Ma Sarap out of business I had to react quickly and joined Amazon as a delivery driver. I used this time outside the food industry to challenge myself and broaden my skill set. Even though I was thrilled to finally join E. & J. Gallo I appreciate having had the opportunity of working in such a tough and high volume position in a time of rapid growth.
