I’ve always been driven by a passion for technical construction—starting with building sets and models as a child, and growing into woodworking, metalworking, auto repair, and other physically involved projects. I take pride in assembling things piece by piece and seeing a project take shape through direct, manual work. I am currently a Ph.D. student in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with the long-term goal of leading a nanomaterials research laboratory dedicated to advancing nanoelectronics for the Department of Defense.
