About Christopher Beaudet

I have ministerial and personal experience in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis for over 14 years in parochial, diocesan, and provincial leadership positions. I also have unique experience in higher-education administration and advancement. My work has enabled me to network and collaborate broadly with a wide spectrum of people of varying backgrounds. I am adaptable, a hard worker, goal-oriented, and I make it a point to encourage and affirm those with whom I work so as to inspire excellence in others even as I strive for it myself. A hallmark of my experience has been homiletics and large scale public speaking engagements to deliver the message of hope, forgiveness, the splendor of truth, personal meaning and life aims, and the adventure of the Christian life. My written and oral communication skills have enabled me to craft and deliver dynamic, insightful, and well-structured addresses to audiences of a few to a few thousand. Another hallmark of my experience has been in academic settings. I have spent several years of my life intellectually stimulated in centers of higher learning. I am a life-long learner, eager for new experiences and quick to acquire new skills and knowledge-content. I have extensive experience teaching, both at the high school and graduate level. My students have consistently noted my ability to convey information clearly and with practical application while maintaining an enjoyable and dynamic classroom environment conducive of the learning process. In addition to teaching, I have also served as an administrator of a graduate school and am well versed in the particularities of managing an academic faculty, a support staff, and a student body all within the larger context of a university community. I worked in close collaboration with the Vice President for Institutional Advancement in maintaining an annual campaign for operational expenses while helping to achieve a successful $28M capital campaign.
