Career Objective To be an integral part of an organization’s management team. To enhance an organizations expert power in fleet management, logistics, safety, customer relations, vendor and supplier relations, supply chain, finance, training, process development and process improvement. Personal Profile I’m Transportation and Logistics Professional with over 25 years of experience in a variety of business models including, Commercial Truckload, LTL operations, NPO’s, Healthcare Logistics and Expedited Delivery Services. I have considerable skills in Fleet Management, Safety, Distribution and Supply Chain Management. I have built these skills in concert with developing skills in Process Improvement Sciences including; Lean, Six Sigma, Kan Ban, 5S, FIFO, Root Cause Analysis and TQM. I have current, formal education having earned two degrees in business and coursework in supervision. I also have numerous certificates and CE’s in various industry and management subjects. Leadership I am very passionate about Quality, Safety and Fiscal responsibility. In Quality I believe strongly in a philosophy that positive outcomes lie at the end of knowledge, sound policies, validated processes and procedures and innovative training of staff. In safety I have worked closely with Insurance and Risk Management companies, networked with Safety Managers in Industry and am active on the Wisconsin Safety Council’s Vehicle Safety Committee. I have also been a program speaker on Fleet Safety at the WSC’s Annual Safety Conference. As a leader of staff, I subscribe to servant leadership philosophies; Authenticity, Respect for Others, Humility, Work Ethic as well as Going to Gemba. As a representative of the organization and or a department, I take great pride in having excellent rapport with customers, peers and staff. I take great pride in managing positive relationships and work extremely well in both small and large organizational projects.
