About Christopher Belko

I am an ISA certified and TRAQ qualified arborist, and field botanist with a passion for responsible natural resource management. I currently support a team of tree loving Vegetation Management Inspectors. I take very seriously my role to keep trees within the utility rights of way safe and prevent devastating fires. I work directly with the utility, homeowner, and tree crew to satisfy everyone’s interests as best as possible while keeping safety my utmost priority. I’ve thrived in this fast paced environment and I take great pride in the quality of my work. I graduated from Humboldt State University in 2020 with a degree in Botany. I’ve had the pleasure of conducting botanical surveys across Northern California, from valley grasslands to montane forests, for three field seasons. My favorite projects to work on are rare plant surveys, wetland delineations, and fire effects surveys. Throughout my career I have maintained an honest, ethical, and highly driven approach to my work. I strive to balance the demand for industry with the crucial need for responsible land and natural resource management. I’m greatly thankful for all the experiences I’ve had in my career and I look forward to the challenges that await!
