Additionally, my experience includes understanding how to facilitate and build bridges among stakeholders with common goals and aspirations. To accomplish this requires innovative thinking, the ability to organize meaningful collaborations, and the willingness to develop and implement practical solutions that will help an organization succeed with key projects, make better informed decisions, and meet their goals. As a former two term mayor of the city of Lafayette, CO I earned a reputation as a collaborator that brings people together to embrace sustainability initiatives with passion and tenacity to strengthen our communities while building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders. As a successful business developer and manager I excelled at finding and cultivating meaningful working relationships with stakeholders while engaging in advocacy initiatives, leading sustainability development efforts, and generating revenue to support sustainability projects. It’s not enough to bring people to the table; frankly my expertise is in closing the deal and getting things done.
