About Christopher Bespflug

If it's a task worth doing, it's worth doing well." I was raised with this mindset and do my best to live this out in everything I do including loving and serving those around me daily. I carry this posture into my approach to work. I am driven by a passion to learn how systems, phenomena and machines work and to utilize this understanding for the benefit of clients and coworkers. I possess a diverse set of experiences from working in the railroading, engineering, banking and pharmaceutical industries, and these experiences demonstrate my flexibility and adaptability to new circumstances including working in a team and independently, in office and field environments, during the day and night, and in task and people-oriented roles. I have strong technical and analytical skills, cultivated through my mechanical engineering degree and numerous research experiences in Canada and Uganda. Complimenting my technical skills is a high degree of empathy, and I enjoy listening intently to others and responding to their needs. I am passionate about teaching and seeing people grow to reach their potential, whether that be in an academic environment or the workplace.
