As an experienced Engineering Manager at Maple Mold Technologies, I bring over 20 years of expertise in tooling engineering, production management, and prototype development. My journey in the industry began as a Detail Department Leader and CNC Machinist, progressing to a Cimatron Programmer and eventually earning the title of AMBA Master CNC Technician & Mold Builder. Over the years, I've honed my skills in extrusion and injection molding, ensuring top-notch tool and product quality through close collaboration with engineering and quality departments. In my role, I have successfully managed all aspects of tool-relevant processes from customer requests to production. This includes evaluating CAD designs, defining mold specifications, and optimizing tool design. I have also overseen scheduling and manufacturing processes to meet customer deadlines and standards, managed tooling outsourcing, and created detailed project timelines. With a solid foundation in production and prototype tooling and a keen eye for technology and product improvements, I continuously drive innovation and excellence in every project I undertake. My ability to provide guidance and support to program managers and my commitment to optimizing tool designs make me a valuable asset to any engineering team.
