Christopher Blue is a senior advisor in the Real Estate team of Herbert Smith Freehills. Chris' practice involves advising on property and infrastructure developments and transactions and, in particular, advising on environmental and planning issues. Chris has acted for developers, financiers and the State Government in relation to the development, acquisition and sale of major property and infrastructure projects in Queensland for over 30 years, including-advising Lendlease in relation to the redevelopment of the Brisbane Showgrounds at Bowen Hills-advising the Department of Housing and Public Works in relation to the Boggo Road Urban Village including the redevelopment of the Boggo Road Gaol-advising Lendlease in relation to Yarrabilba, a master planned community development for over people-acting for Australian Prime Property Fund in the acquisition of Central Plaza 2 and Central Plaza 3 buildings in Brisbane-advising Mirvac in relation to development and major leasing matters for Orion Shopping Centre at Springfield-advising Greenland in relation to the Queens Wharf project in Brisbane; and -advising ABN AMRO in relation to the development of Brisbane Square, a CBD commercial office building headquartering the Brisbane City Council and Suncorp.
