About Christopher Brett
I am VP of Platform Development at Move, an all-electric transport company servicing Vancouver and surrounding area. Through the development of Move's transportation logistics platform, I help revolutionize zero-emission transport with software that accelerates our pace towards a sustainable energy future. Our logistics software platform, Tachyon, combines optimized logistical routing and state of the art neural network-based machine learning software. I am passionate about accelerating the shift in energy that powers our transportation sector from foreign fossil fuels to local, clean electricity. I believe that utilizing commercial electric vehicles is essential in creating a sustainable future for communities by vastly decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. I studied Computer Science at the University of Victoria and graduated in 2018, where I started working with a small tech company as a software developer. Simultaneously, I co-founded a software company where I previously lead a team in app design and development. Soon after, I started on with MOVE and have been growing and pushing the ceiling of software development since.
