About Christopher Brink

Greetings, my name is Christopher Brink and I’m looking to solve some spatial dilemmas. I hold a B.A. in Applied Social Science with a concentration in anthropology and sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Stout. I have a distinct interest in people, especially in a spacial context. Before and during my undergraduate, I spent nine years working at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation, the last few of which were spent as the Program Director in charge of staffing and weekly content. During my tenure, I gained a deep appreciation for teaching, team building, and character development. After receiving a minor in Geographic Information Systems at UW Stout, I recieved a masters degree in Geographic Information Sciences through the University of Minnesota’s MGIS Program. I graduated in May 2015.I’m interested in creating (and assisting) research and conclusions that are ‘spatially aware.’ I am particularly keen on the application of spatial systems and archaeology; though, I have a diverse background and interests. GIS is a great interdisciplinary vehicle. I am currently working as a cartographer for East View Geospatial in Hopkins, Minnesota.
