About Christopher Britton

After spending many years working in software development, analysis and client management I have a wide range of skills and experience. This includes working in teams developing software using different techniques, in various settings, working for a range of clients. I have excellent communication, client management and analysis skills and an eye for detail. I have a proven track record of client/project management, having worked within the governance team for a programme management office managing the project tracking tool and having managed marketing software projects for Barclays and Barclaycard on behalf of Communisis. This included further developing tools by taking business demands and translating them into both business requirement documents and functional specifications, and liaising with internal departments, and external companies, to deliver the changes. While working for Iress I have been responsible for the analysis activities on a large (multi £m) mortgage software change project delivered to Nationwide and for nearly two years was part of a team working onsite with Nationwide delivering further large change projects. Following on I worked as an Implementation Consultant, leading the configuration of a major new mortgage system for Leeds Building Society. I’m currently working in a new role at Nationwide helping to deliver key network changes, ensuring what is delivered will meet the intended goals, is ready to be consumed by the business and fully supported.
