About Christopher Bryan

My developing expertise concerns international migration and immigrant integration, and I have 8 years of previous NGO experience as a Deployment Officer, Fundraiser & Promoter, and Missionary Project Developer. I have key administrative experience related to the deployment of overseas workers, as well as coordinating across departments to assure accountability, efficiency and fluid transition of material and human resources. I have personally experienced international deployment, and thus have an acute appreciation for quality support. My analytical skills derive from a earlier interest in mathematics and engineering, providing efficiency in working with models and budgets. I thrive in details, enabling superb communication skills and holistic problem solving. Thorough organization is a personal requirement for tolerating high stress. I enjoy teamwork and the insight of multiple perspectives, and I am known as an attentive listener and an asset to my colleagues in attaining their objectives. I am currently a Refugee Integration Assistant in the Social Resources Division for Unaccompanied Minors in Malmö, Sweden. This position has provided critical knowledge of sociopolitical context regarding refugee integration and migration & asylum policy in Sweden. Having twice made international transitions to France and Sweden, I have personal experience and deep understanding of immigrant integration, as well as engagements with state actors. I am also in my second year of studies in International Migration & Ethnic Relations at Malmö University, and I have a previous Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies with focus on Foreign Missions. In addition to native English, I have professional working proficiency in both French and Swedish because of earlier deployments and international experience.
