Accomplishments-Successfully participated in 3 Kaizen events at Norfolk Southern that resulted in streamlining plant operations and expansion of Kaizen events across Norfolk Southern-Completed Six Sigma Green Belt Training-Lead projects between departments that brought significant savings to Norfolk Southern-Implemented new processes within Norfolk Southern that resulted in significant savings-Outsourced projects and developed contingency plans for PTC (Positive Train Control) on a contractual basis resulting in multimillion dollar savings-Cut inventory costs by implementing “JIT” and strategically developing vendors centralized to the company-Cut logistical spend by establishing contracts with carriers to move company material.
