I have more than 28 years of experience in designing and developing software applications and system management, as well as installing, operating and maintaining COTS/GOTS Information Systems Technology, Network Analysis and Troubleshooting. My development experience includes the following programming languages: Visual Basic, Visual C++, c/C++, Pascal, FORTRAN, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Active Server Pages (ASP), ASP.NET; ADO.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL), Digital Command Language (DCL), NELIAC, dBase, Windows Interface Language (WIL). I also have significant database experience using SQL Server, Sybase, Data Workbench, Transact-SQL, APT-SQL, APT Workbench, ObjectView, Oracle DBMS, Microsoft Access, Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and dBase. My software and operating system experience includes.NET Framework, WinBatch, UNIX OS, VAX/VMS OS, MicroVMS OS, RSX/11M OS, Automatic Operating and Scheduling Program (AOSP), SQL forms, Forms Management System (FMS), Ethernet, DECnet Communications Network, WAND and TEMPLATE Graphics, and numerous other personal computer applications. My System Management experience includes DEC clustered VAX 11/780s, VAX 11/730, MicroVAX II, VAXstation VAXstation II/GPX, DECserver 100, PDP 11/60, Burroughs B5500 Mainframe, and various personal computers. The vast experience in coding, applying logic and problem solving skills, as well as hands on troubleshooting shows I have the ability and confidence to be successful no matter what development environment or programming language is required. I have a strong desire to perform assigned tasks and projects to the highest standard and to never settle for second best. My attention to detail is an asset during software development by limiting software errors and improves testing. My artistic talent also provides the ability to develop eye-pleasing graphics, logos and user interfaces.
