About Christopher Chan

Pause for a moment. Take some time to observe all the things going on in your life right now. Think about how you manage to keep track of everything: What was that awesome thing you just ate, and would you consider it worth the price? What was it that you liked about that movie you last watched or that video game you last played? Do you have any messages on your apps that you haven't responded to yet? Do you need to restock your fridge with eggs and butter? How will you shave 10 minutes off your commute home today? All of these questions can be answered with data! And we happen to be living in an age that is *rich* with data. Our world is becoming more instrumented and monitored. To me this is great news, because I find great satisfaction in taking these data points and turning them into information that can be used to better understand situations and make decisions. I enjoy searching for and working with analytical building blocks in hopes of creating a sophisticated and valuable piece of intelligence. At the end of the day, my goal is to help others solve problems and empower them to make confident decisions.
