About Christopher Coley

I am currently a Program Head at the Amrita School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Faridabad Campus. I lead a team of faculty in the new Social Data Science and Policy program, where we offer an MSc. degree program, and conduct research, programming, and outreach as part of the larger SSBS and Amrita UNESCO Chair in Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment under Dr. Bhavani Rao. I am also a researcher at Amrita University's Center for Gender Equality and Women Empowerment. My responsibilities include grant writing, monitoring and evaluation tool development, programming support, and research publications. My research area of interest is,"What happens to men after women are empowered?" I have also been appointed as UN Liaison for programs at AMMACHI Labs and The CWEGE, and have been fortunate to work closely with the UN Democracy Fund office in NY, as well as the UNESCO and UNICEF offices in Delhi for our joint projects and in planning for future collaborations. These efforts help to align our programs with UN goals, ensuring collaboration and open sharing of best practices.
