About Christopher Compton

As one adventure ends, another begins, and the sky’s no limit. The past nine years I have been fulfilling a childhood dream of flying for the U.S. Navy in my role as an Electronic Warfare Officer in the EA-18G Growler. I deployed twice to the Pacific Theater to Japan, Guam, and Korea and was fortunate enough to be hand selected to complete the Growler Tactics Instructor Course (TOPGUN for Growler aircrew). My time as a Naval Officer has granted me tangible, managerial experience in operations, aircraft maintenance, IT, and logistics. The Navy also provided a wealth of exposure leading goal-focused teams, tackling problems in high stress situations, and using effective communication to translate complex plans into action. Having honorably transitioned out of military service, I am now pivoting to a career that will allow me to apply my demonstrated leadership abilities while providing new opportunities to showcase my strong interpersonal and creative abilities. My sights are set on a profitable career in real estate, and I am thrilled to apply new functional skills learned from my Fulltime MBA classes at Texas A&M University – Mays Business School and from my internship at NorthMarq Capital. Long term, I strive to become a strategic leader in the field while managing innovative and substantial real estate projects.I am seeking a January 2021 full-time position in real estate.
