About Christopher Conklin

I have a vast "array" of professional experience in many different environments ranging from a professional laboratory setting to oil refineries. While working for Integrity Test Lab, I worked at the Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia which was a great experience. I also worked at the Chevron Refinery in Pascagoula Mississippi where I expanded my knowledge of tank inspections, specifically managing a crew of technicians to inspect above ground storage tanks using the ScanTech™ Automated Ultrasonic equipment for corrosion mapping. Level II certifications include: PTII, MTII, VTII, RTII, UTII, AuT, PA, ToFD. I was certified as a member of the rope access team at the Chevron Plant in Pascagoula, MS. I was certified by my first NDT company, Acuren to do this. Additionally I studied at Hellier Institute (after earning my bachelor's degree from Niagara University) to further my education in NDE/NDT procedures. Project Management Experience, Tank Inspections Supervisor with Acuren Inspection. I also have turnaround/shutdown project management experience at QISI (specifically with Riley Power in New York City)- during an outage. I am looking for additional opportunity to network with people who have this experience so I can hopefully move up in my industry and achieve management status. In the long term- I strive to earn my Eddy Current certification, several API certifications, CWI certification and my Level Specialties: Visual Testing, Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing (All level II), Shear Wave, Automated Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array, ToFD specialist, Time of Flight, customer liaison, qa/qc, management experience, project management, time management, effective leadership.
