About Christopher Cooke

My name is Christopher Cooke, and I’m a queer latine community organizer looking to make a positive impact in the lives of people from marginalized communities. I am an experienced community organizer and political operative; with a background in Field, Coalition Building, Electoral Campaigns, Campaign Management, VAN, Diversity and Inclusion, LGBTQ Policy, and State Legislative Policy Analysis. I’ve worked at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) as a regional field organizer, developing and executing their political, electoral, and legislative priorities in Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. As part of my duties, I organized volunteers, stakeholders, and HRC’s resources to advance progress for the LGBTQ Community. I have unique lived experience in the marginalized communities I advocate and organize for. My diverse background, skillset, and experience make me a valuable addition to any team.
