I am a software developer with over 15 years of experience in large projects utilizing a wide variety of technologies and frameworks. The programming languages I am most skilled in are Progress 4GL and Java. I have worked in both waterfall and agile development models. I am comfortable working on Unix/Linux servers and writing and editing shell scripts on them. I have programmed both front end user interfaces and back end business logic code. I have spent several years of my career on large government contract work, but I am currently employed exclusively in the private sector. I have experience directly communicating with the customer via face-to-face meetings and email, and have been commended by customers on my communication skills.
