About Christopher Dancer

My design leadership experience in the built environment spans over 15 years. I specialise in high-quality residential-led developments that create great sustainable places for people. These include urban extensions, estate regeneration and large-scale projects for clients such as Clarion, Quintain, and Berkeley Homes. I thrive on navigating complex constraints. This means tackling commercial imperatives, regulatory necessities and spatial puzzles with determination and innovation. Working collaboratively, I find creative solutions to maximise project value whilst respecting local context and communities. Passionate about optimising design processes, I inspire, empower and encourage the multi-disciplinary teams I lead. As an industry advocate and expert speaker at the NLA, I actively shape discussions on design best practices, helping to influence the future of residential development.
