About Christopher Davis

Hello, My name is Christopher Davis, and I am a recent graduate from Western Oregon University in June of 2019. I possess a Degree in criminal justice, in addition to minoring in youth crime studies, with the aim at entering the field of law enforcement/criminal justice. I currently reside in Portland and am beginning the process of searching for career opportunities in the greater Portland Metro Area as a police officer. I am a hardworking, honest individual who will consistently display excellent communication skills, as well as being adept at working with, as well as under other individuals. Leadership skills have always been an area of strength for myself as well, as I am determined to ensure that any given task is carried out to a satisfactory level. During my time at Western Oregon University, I also achieved status on the Dean’s list for academic excellence. Additionally, I was a member of the Western Oregon Rugby Team, serving as captain and team president for two years while earning All-Conference Honors. My previous experience entails working as a food distribution specialist for a produce distribution company from 2015 to the present. Additionally, I have worked in agriculture, working well in excess of 60 hours per week, and thus have experience working extended overtime hours. Additionally, I recently completed an internship with Mt. Angel Police department, which I began in April of 2019. I am excited to be entering the field of law enforcement at such an opportune period for growth and development, and look forward to any opportunities that come my way. A career in law enforcement has been my passion and goal of mine since long before my education began. I believe that with the traits that I possess, I am more than fit for a career in the field of criminal justice.
