About Christopher Doss

A First Lieutenant Military Police Officer with the U.S. Army Reserve and a graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Sport Management from Coastal Carolina University. I am pursuing a career in which I am able to positively affect society through active lifestyles and motivational thinking. I consider myself a very creative and adaptable individual with a strong work ethic and well-rounded skill set. Throughout my career in the U.S. Army thus far, I have learned many tactical and professional skills in both garrison and combat. More importantly, these skills provide a foundation for actions to be translated into the civilian realm. The ability to adapt in and handle pressure situations, use quick and sound decision-making, and understanding personnel and the environment have all been professionally developed. During my time at Coastal, I was involved in many hands-on courses such as: Program and Event Planning, Recreation & Sport Administration/Leadership, Coaching, and Area & Facility Management; all while being complemented by in-depth courses in Fiscal Management, Sport Legal Studies, and Moral & Ethical Reasoning. I also was a team member & captain of the Coastal Carolina University Men's Rugby Club for three years, and completed a full-time internship with the University Campus Recreation Department during my final semester.
