About Christopher Dwyer

I feel that in nuclear power we often underestimate our impact on the world. We do more than maintain a nuclear reactor. The product that leaves our plants through our generators out to the transmission system is what makes the modern world possible. The positions that I have held have taught me how to successfully schedule, assign, monitor, and coordinate day-to-day activities and to improve productivity among workgroups. I have experience in private investigation and fire investigation. I was a young leader in the fire service as a Fire Captain when I made to transition to the nuclear industry. This transition was the result of my desire to learn, grow, and produce a product. My duties have encompassed work control, corrective action processes, scheduling and implementation, Operations MOV group liaison, coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities, interacting with regulators, and with other plant groups and senior management. I am now an Operations Shift Manager at Entergys Riverbend Station.
