About Christopher Fehr

I am a trainer and budding instructional designer with a background in education and media production. As an instructor, I craft learning experiences that break down challenging concepts into easily consumable chunks for learners. Having a background in media production, my problem-solving approach for learning is grounded in developing creative solutions that are as engaging as possible, but based on performance gaps in the real world. Years of experience with audio and video production have led me to believe that the element of story is one of the most powerful tools to captivate the interest of learners.‍ Working in the energy and utility sectors have taught me how to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. In the utility sector, I regularly meet with stakeholders to discuss learner goals and performance. While in oil and gas, I learned how essential it was to value safety, team building, and operational discipline. In addition to crafting learning experiences, I am a fitness enthusiast, videographer/photographer, and have produced audio content such as voiceovers and podcasts.
