I am an experienced Project Engineer (GS-0801-13) with 4+ years working in the construction industry, and 8+ years in the naval maintenance community. I have worked on projects of varying complexity from an $55 Million Hospital renovation,$ 127 million historical science center renovation,$35 Million FEMA disaster mission to a $70 Million emergent fire recovery repair of a Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier. My strengths are executing military construction projects of considerable complexity as measured by geographical dispersion, demands, and technical intricacies throughout the life cycle of the projects, overseeing and supervising technical evaluation programs, leading diverse teams, and mentoring young engineers. My specific technical expertise is in Mechanical, Building Automation Control systems, Electrical distribution, and developing testing procedures for executed work, identifying inter and intra system testing requirements within complex engineering and combat systems, and coordinating subsequent test with all responsible parties. With my experience as a Navy Sailor in receiving the highest grade ever received by an engineering electrical division on a Nimitz Class Aircraft carrier, Technical background as a Naval Shipyard Test Engineer testing various combat system components as Ship Repair Facility Japans leading sea trials coordinator, and experience managing complex projects as USACE Project Engineer/COR.
